Driver & Requirements

1.1 Minimum Age

The driver must be at least 19 years old and hold a valid driving license for a minimum period of one (1) year.

The renter bears the sole responsibility to ensure that all age and driving license requirements are met before completing the booking. In case the driver does not meet the age requirements upon pickup, the vehicle will not be handed over, and no refund will be issued.

1.2 Driving License

All drivers must hold a valid driving license for at least one (1) year prior to the rental date. The license must be legible, in good condition, and written in Latin characters.

Driving licenses issued by European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) countries are fully accepted and do not require an International Driving Permit (IDP).

Driving licenses issued outside the EU/EEA are accepted only if accompanied by a valid International Driving Permit (IDP), where required by Greek legislation, and always along with the original national license.

The company reserves the right to request an International Driving Permit (IDP) in cases where:

The license was issued outside the EU/EEA, or it is required by applicable legislation or insurance regulations.

Failure to present a valid driving license and, where required, a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) will result in refusal of vehicle handover and cancellation of insurance coverage.

Digital driving licenses or photos of documents are not accepted.

1.3 Driving License Requirements (Scooter)

In addition to the requirements mentioned in Section 1.2 (Driving License), drivers renting scooters must hold a driving license corresponding to the engine capacity and type of vehicle (Scooters up to 125cc: Category A1 or higher), in accordance with Greek and European legislation.

Riding a scooter without the required license category or without the required International Driving Permit (IDP), where required, entails:

full cancellation of insurance coverage,

refusal of vehicle handover, and

full and exclusive liability of the renter.

1.4 Additional Drivers

All additional drivers must:

be declared at the time of booking, be present at the pickup location, and hold a valid driving license and a valid identification document.

Any use of the vehicle by a driver not declared on the rental agreement is strictly prohibited and results in the complete loss of insurance coverage, with the renter bearing full liability.

1.5 General Clause on Non-Compliance & No Refund

In the event that the renter and/or any declared or undeclared driver fails to comply with any of these rental terms, including but not limited to the following cases:

the company reserves the absolute and unilateral right to:

refuse vehicle handover, or terminate the rental at any stage, without any refund, compensation, or other claim from the renter, regardless of the time or reason for discovering non-compliance.

Vehicle Usage Rules

2.1 Incorrect Fuel

Any damage, malfunction, or cost (including repair expenses, towing, and loss of availability) resulting from refueling the vehicle with the wrong type of fuel is the sole responsibility of the renter and is not covered by any insurance.

2.2 Ferry Transport & Outside Crete

Transporting the vehicle by ferry, to or from any island or the mainland, is not permitted.

In the event the vehicle is used or transported outside Crete, all insurance coverages are automatically canceled, and the renter bears full and exclusive responsibility for any damage, loss, or cost incurred. Vehicles are equipped with a tracking system for security purposes (theft, emergencies).

2.3 Unlimited Mileage

Unlimited mileage is included in the rental price. Unlimited mileage applies exclusively to use on public, paved roads and within Crete.

2.4 Fines, Penalties & Legislation

All fines, penalties, and traffic violations incurred during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the renter.

The renter is obliged to immediately inform the company of any traffic violation or fine, including but not limited to cases such as negligent or dangerous driving, driving under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances, driving in prohibited areas, misuse of the vehicle, illegal parking, or running a red light.

In all the above cases, the renter bears full and exclusive responsibility for all related charges, fines, or other consequences stipulated by applicable legislation.

The company reserves the right to charge an administrative fee of €20 for the management of:

fines, traffic violations, or toll or parking charges, in addition to the amount of the fine or the relevant charge.

Rental Duration & Vehicle Management

3.1 The minimum rental period is set at three (3) days.

3.2 Pickup or Return of the vehicle outside of operating hours incurs a charge of €15 each.

3.3 Late Return

A grace period of up to 15 minutes may be granted, exclusively upon notification and discretion of the company and subject to availability.

Returns beyond the above time frame may incur additional charges, while delays exceeding 30 minutes may be charged as an additional rental day.

3.4 Rental Extension

In the event the renter wishes to extend the rental after picking up the vehicle, they must contact the company in advance to check vehicle availability.

The company reserves the absolute right to approve or deny the extension, especially if the vehicle is already booked for a subsequent rental.

Returning the vehicle after the agreed-upon time, without prior approval from the company, is not permitted, and the company reserves the right to charge double the daily rate for the extension (Double Charge) as a penalty for non-compliance with the terms.

3.5 Vehicle Replacement

In case of an accident, damage, mechanical failure, or immobilization of the vehicle, the renter must immediately inform the company.

Vehicle replacement is provided subject to availability and location, within a reasonable timeframe. The company reserves the right to investigate the causes of the incident and refuse replacement if the vehicle was used in violation of these rental terms.

In these cases:

the renter is not entitled to a refund, compensation, or replacement, and rental charges remain fully payable.

If a vehicle of the same category is not available, the company reserves the right, at its discretion:

to provide a vehicle of the same or a higher category without additional charge, or

to terminate the rental agreement and refund only the unused rental days. The renter is not entitled to any further compensation or claims beyond the above.

3.6 Traffic Accident

In the event of a traffic accident, the renter must immediately inform the company and the competent police authority.

The police will record the accident, and the renter is obliged to obtain and provide a copy of the relevant incident report.

In the absence of a police report, the renter bears full and exclusive responsibility for any damage, cost, or other consequence incurred, without any insurance coverage.

3.7 Personal Belongings

The company is not liable for the loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings left in the vehicle during or after the rental period, regardless of the cause.

3.8 Selection of Specific Make or Model

Bookings are for a specific vehicle category.

3.9 Early Vehicle Return

In the event the renter returns the vehicle earlier than the agreed-upon return date and time, for any reason not attributable to the company, no refund will be provided for the unused rental days.

The total rental amount remains fully payable.

All Taxes Included

Any Value Added Tax (VAT) is already included in the rental price.

No additional taxes are added at the time of payment upon vehicle pickup.

Support & Roadside Assistance

5.1 24-Hour Roadside Assistance

Free 24-hour roadside assistance is provided seven days a week through a certified service provider.

In case of need, immediate contact with our office is recommended.

Roadside assistance is provided free of charge, except in cases due to:

negligence or misuse of the vehicle, refueling with the wrong type of fuel, loss or damage of keys, or violation of these rental terms.

In cases of loss, damage, or keys locked inside the vehicle, immobilization, or need for towing due to renter’s negligence or misuse, all related expenses (including but not limited to key replacement, locksmith services, towing, and vehicle recovery) are solely borne by the renter.

5.2 Fuel Policy

The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as when it was picked up.

The company reserves the right to hold a deposit amount, corresponding to the estimated fuel cost, which will be released upon return of the vehicle with the agreed fuel level.

Any fuel discrepancies will be charged based on the local fuel price, plus a €20 refueling service fee.

Insurance & Security Deposit

6.1 Insurance Coverage

6.1.1 Scooter Motorcycle Insurance

All motorcycles are insured according to Greek legislation and include Third-Party Liability.

6.1.2 Insurance covers the following provided that the vehicle is used in full compliance with:

the Highway Code, and these rental terms.

It includes:

24-Hour Roadside Assistance (within Crete)

Third-Party Liability

Unlimited Mileage (public, paved roads within Crete)

Natural Phenomena Coverage

The insurance does not cover cases including, but not limited to:

use of the vehicle outside Crete or transport by ferry, loss or damage of keys, helmets, or accessories, accident without a police report, damage incurred under the influence of alcohol or drugs, damage from traffic violations, falls or rollovers without third-party involvement, mechanical damage due to misuse or negligence, damage to the underside of the vehicle, off-road use or use on unpaved roads, including but not limited to beaches, dirt roads, mountain routes, agricultural paths, or any road that is not officially paved and maintained.

Traffic fines, administrative penalties, and any charges arising from violations of the Highway Code are solely borne by the renter.

In case of damage, accident, fall, or rollover, the renter is liable up to the corresponding amount, which will be deducted from the security deposit.

Renter’s Liability Amounts:

€30 for loss or damage of keys

€60/piece for non-return or excessive damage to the helmet and €30 for scratches or breakage of the helmet visor

€30/piece for scratches on all parts of the vehicle and its equipment

€120/piece for broken plastic parts and vehicle equipment

€80 for damage to the seat (tears, holes, etc.)

€100/piece for damage (tear) to tires, and €40/piece charge for tire repair in case of punctures

€250/piece for damage to the vehicle’s rims

€350 for damage to the vehicle’s suspension

€200 for damage to the vehicle’s braking system

€200 for damage to the vehicle’s electrical system

€1500 for damage to the vehicle’s engine

€2500 for damage to the vehicle’s frame and subframe

In the event that the damages exceed the security deposit amount, the renter agrees to pay the difference for the repair cost directly to the motorcycle repair shop/dealership indicated by the company for the vehicle’s repair.

6.1.3 Insurance Invalidation

Insurance coverage is completely invalidated in any of the following cases:

use of the vehicle in violation of these rental terms, violation of traffic rules, or failure to present a police report in case of an accident.

6.2 Security Deposit

During the booking procedure, the customer can choose the security deposit (200€) method (Cash/Card) at vehicle pick up point.

The deposit amount is clearly displayed during the booking process, before payment completion. Upon completion of the booking, the renter expressly accepts the corresponding deposit amount.

The deposit is released after the rental period ends, provided no additional charges are incurred. The release process may take up to fourteen (14) business days, depending on the issuing bank.

The company reserves the right to retain part or all of the deposit to cover, but not limited to:

damages, fines or administrative penalties, insufficient fuel, or violation of these rental terms.

The deposit may be used to cover any outstanding charges identified after the vehicle’s return.

6.3 Vehicle Condition

The renter confirms that they have inspected the vehicle’s condition upon pickup and accept responsibility for any damage not recorded on the rental agreement.

Any damage identified or reported after the vehicle’s return that was not recorded at pickup is considered the renter’s responsibility.

6.4 Damage Assessment & Charging Procedure

In the event that damages are identified during or after the vehicle’s return, the company may issue a repair cost estimation form (“Estimation Repair”), which will be communicated to the renter.

Acceptance of the estimate by the renter is made through:

physical signature, electronic signature, or written confirmation (via email or message), and constitutes explicit and unconditional consent for their card to be charged, in accordance with the terms of the signed Rental Agreement.

The security deposit and/or card charge may also be used to cover additional charges arising from the rental, such as, but not limited to:

insufficient fuel, fines or administrative penalties, administrative fees (40€), vehicle immobilization costs and loss of use, loss or damage of keys or equipment, Payments, Cancellations & No-Shows

7.1 Cancellation Policy

Once the booking is completed and paid for, no cancellations are accepted (Non-refundable).

7.1.1 Full Prepayment (100%)

Full prepayment (100%) is made at the time of booking, and no refund is provided in case of cancellation, regardless of the time or reason for cancellation.

7.1.2 Application of General Clause on Non-Compliance & No Refund

The terms of paragraphs 7.1.1 and 7.1.2 apply in conjunction with the General Clause on Non-Compliance & No Refund.

In cases such as, but not limited to:

no-show, late arrival, failure to present required documents, failure to meet rental requirements, or any other non-compliance with these terms, no refund is provided, regardless of:

payment method, or cancellation time.

7.2 No-Show Policy

In case the renter does not pick up the vehicle at the scheduled pickup time, the booking is transferred to the next business day, or if pickup occurs outside of business hours, the stipulated €15 charge applies.

In case of flight or ferry schedule delays, the renter must inform the company in writing.

A delay in vehicle pickup does not affect:

refund policies, or

late return charges.

7.3 Transaction Security

All card payments are processed through the electronic payment platform Stripe Payments Europe Limited.

Payment is made through a secure, hosted page by Stripe Payments Europe Limited.

Multiple payment methods are supported (cards, digital wallets, bank accounts).

Stripe Payments Europe Limited are responsible for transaction security and compliance with PCI DSS & SCA / 3DS standards.

Personal data and payment information are protected according to the security standards of Stripe Payments Europe Limited.

After payment completion, the customer is automatically returned to our page.

Legal & Personal Data

8.1 Force Majeure

The company is not liable for delays, inability, or non-fulfillment of its obligations when these are due to events beyond its reasonable control, such as but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government decisions, pandemics, or other unforeseen events.

8.2 Privacy Policy

The privacy of customer personal data is fully respected. The renter’s personal data will not be transmitted to third parties not directly related to the vehicle rental.

Personal data may be disclosed to public authorities or insurance companies only when required by applicable legislation.

8.3 Collection & Processing of Identification Data

By signing the rental agreement, the company may collect and record identification data of the renter and/or additional drivers, either through:

photocopies, or scanning or photographing documents. Documents that may be requested include, but are not limited to:

driving license, identity card, or passport.

The collection and processing of data are carried out exclusively for the following purposes:

verification of driver identity, legality of the rental, fulfillment of contractual and insurance obligations, and compliance with applicable legislation.

Personal data are retained only for the necessary period and are subsequently deleted or anonymized, in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – GDPR.

The renter retains the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of their personal data, in accordance with applicable legislation.

8.4 Processing of Personal Data for Traffic Violations & Legal Obligations

For the purposes of managing traffic violations, administrative fines, penalties, or legal claims that may arise during or after the rental period, the company reserves the right to retain and process the renter’s personal data, including identification details and data related to the rental agreement.

This data may be disclosed to competent public authorities, law enforcement agencies, or insurance companies, if required by applicable legislation or necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

The renter acknowledges that, in the above cases, the right to erasure of personal data (right to be forgotten) does not apply, to the extent that data retention is necessary for compliance with legal obligations or for the protection of the company’s legitimate interests.

Promotion and Advertising Expenses.

The company is entitled to undertake promotional activities for its visibility and advertising.

In this context, the company may provide its customers, during the vehicle handover process, with two (2) complimentary beverages (selected products) at a contracted network of partners. This offer is a welcome promotion, valid exclusively for the day the rental begins, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other services.

Identification for the provision of complimentary beverages will be made by presenting the unique booking number to the contracted partner.
